DPDP Compliance

Angel Life Science is committed to complying with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), India's landmark legislation governing the processing of digital personal data. This page explains how your rights under the DPDP are respected and upheld on our website.

Scope and Applicability

The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data within India. While Angel Life Science does not collect personal data through user registration or account creation, we may process limited digital personal data automatically, such as IP addresses, browser types, and usage patterns via analytics tools and server logs. This processing is strictly limited to improving website functionality and user experience.

Your Rights Under DPDP

Under the DPDP, you have the following rights:

  • Right to access your digital personal data held by us
  • Right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure of your data, subject to legal obligations
  • Right to grievance redressal if you believe your rights have been violated

Note: These rights apply only to data that can be reasonably identified as belonging to you.

How We Comply

We do not store personal data in databases or user profiles. Any data collected is anonymized and aggregated for analytical purposes. We use third-party tools that comply with Indian data protection standards. We do not sell, share, or transfer personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

Data We Process

Under the DPDP, the only data we may process includes:

  • IP addresses (automatically logged)
  • Browser and device information (for analytics)
  • Pages visited and time spent on site (aggregated, non-identifiable)

This data is not linked to names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other identifiers.

Legal Basis for Processing

Our processing of digital personal data is based on legitimate interest under Section 4(3) of the DPDP, to ensure the website operates effectively and provides accurate, relevant information to our visitors. We do not rely on consent for this limited processing, as it is necessary for the website’s functionality and does not involve profiling or automated decision-making.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your rights under the DPDP, please contact us via email at [email protected]. Include:

  1. Your full name
  2. A description of the data you wish to access, correct, or erase
  3. Any supporting information to help us identify your data

We will respond to your request within 30 days.

Response Timeframes

Under the DPDP, we are required to respond to your requests within 30 days of receipt. In complex cases, we may extend this period by an additional 15 days and will notify you of the delay with reasons.

No Discrimination Policy

Exercising your rights under the DPDP will not affect your access to our website or services. We do not and will not discriminate against you for making a request under the law.
